Long Range Solar Powered DA600+ Wireless PIR (900 metre operating range).

Long Range (2700 ft) Solar Powered Wireless Outdoor PIR to work in conjunction with all DA600+ Alarm Receivers & Sirens, ideal as either:

• An additional PIR Sensor working together with the Perimeter Alarm Beam System, when there are small particular locations that need protecting where a Beam would not be practical of cost effective.
• As a standalone Wireless Outdoor or Driveway Alarm or Alert.  

Detection:

The Detection range is 60 ft (which can be reduced by choosing one of the other  three sensitivity settings) and the detection width is approximately 15 degrees but with a narrow depth.

By fitting the PIR about 3 - 5 ft from the ground, it is possible to avoid detecting small ground animals (providing you mount the PIR horizontal to the ground).

Wireless Range: 

The Wireless operating range back to all of the Receivers & Wireless Sirens is 2700 ft  (line of sight), which would normally equate to around 1000 ft in most applications (once walls, outbuildings, bushes and trees are taken into account).   

The range can be doubled by adding a Signal Repeater to the system, a further 3 more could also be added, each one adding a potential 2700 ft further range (depending on how they were programmed).

Power Supply:

The PIR is powered by a built in Battery which is charged and maintained by the Solar Panel supplied, this Solar Panel comes with its own mounting bracket and 1 metre of Cable which is plugged into the back of the PIR.

The benefit of having a separate Solar Panel is that it allows you to fit the PIR in the most suitable position for Detection whilst positioning the Solar Panel in the best location for daylight (to charge the PIR).

You could also connect a charger into the back of the PIR for locations with access to power, or use this port to give the PIR an occasional boost charge if it is mounted in a shady location.

Mounting Bracket:

The PIR is supplied with an easy to mount wall bracket.
